JCOAL Statement 　~result of the 35th Clean Coal Int'l Symposium & the Energy Security with Decarbonization Symposium 2026~

On Thursday of Sep 3rd, 2026, we Japan Carbon Frontier Organization (JCOAL), with co-organized by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization(NEDO), Japan Organization for Metals and Energy Security (JOGMEC), held the 35th Clean Coal Day International Symposium as hybrid manner, as supported by embassies of 11 countries located in Tokyo, including the 3 state governments of Australia, the 1 state government of Canada, the Global CCS Institute (GCCSI), Ube City, and Kushiro City. On the following Friday, Sep 4th, 2026, we held the Energy Security with Decarbonization Symposium 2026 with co-organized by Japan Organization for Metals and Energy Security (JOGMEC).

We released the JCOAL Statement 2026 for summarizing the discussion results of both symposiums.
