8th International Conference on Carbon Recycling 2026 《October 9, Friday, 2026, Tokyo》
The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (hereinafter referred to as "NEDO") will hold the "8th International Conference on Carbon Recycling 2026" on Friday, October 9, 2026, at The Westin Tokyo.
At this conference, under the theme of "carbon recycling," a key technology for achieving carbon neutrality, the latest trends and other information will be shared, including progress on Japan's initiatives, with government officials and experts from overseas invited to participate. In addition, by bringing together knowledge from industry, academia, and government around the world and discussing issues related to social implementation, the conference aims to further strengthen international collaboration.
Furthermore, as an opportunity to promote interaction among participants and deepen understanding of carbon recycling technologies, a poster session and networking reception will also be held.
In addition, a poster session will be held in a venue adjacent to the main conference hall, where poster exhibitions by companies, organizations, and other entities involved in carbon recycling are planned. The poster session may be used as an opportunity for companies and organizations to share information on their initiatives, as well as a networking opportunity with conference participants. We would be grateful if those interested would consider exhibiting at the poster session in addition to participating in the main conference. There is no exhibition fee.

About the "8th International Conference on Carbon Recycling 2026"
Since 2019, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and NEDO have held the "International Conference on Carbon Recycling" annually in Japan, with the aim of disseminating information on Japan's initiatives and strengthening collaboration with industry, academia, and government stakeholders around the world.
At the "8th International Conference on Carbon Recycling 2026 among Industry, Academia and Government," the conference will seek to deepen international collaboration and strengthen information dissemination through lectures by experts from Japan and overseas on notable technologies related to carbon recycling and social implementation.
Furthermore, a poster session will be held to promote interaction among participants and widely introduce technologies, research and development, products, services, and other initiatives related to carbon recycling. A networking reception is scheduled to be held at the poster session venue after the main conference.
In addition, the CR Exchange of Views for Students will be held as an opportunity for international exchange connecting students with overseas government officials and business representatives. Participation in the student exchange meeting is by invitation only.
