CEFIA Seminar at the 2nd Indonesia-Japan Environment Week
CEFIA (Cleaner Energy Future Initiative for ASEAN) is an initiative to facilitate collaboration between the public and private sectors for accelerating the deployment of cleaner energy and decarbonization technology in the ASEAN region.
JCOAL undertakes the leader of the Biomass Flagship Project under CEFIA.
Today, we are pleased to announce that we will have CEFIA Seminar to further potentials of biomass utilization in the energy sector of Indonesia and ASEAN and how Japan can help to bolster their decarbonization efforts. The seminar will be held as Session 5 of the Indonesia-Japan Environment Week, which is hosted by the Indonesian Ministry of Environment (KLHK) and the Ministry of Environment of Japan (MOEJ) and is to be held hybrid in Jakarta, Indonesia.
This webinar will bring together government representatives from Japan, Japanese industry players, and ASEAN institutions to share insights on the latest developments in biomass utilization. Through presentations and panel discussions, the event aims to promote the deployment of technologies that align with Japan-ASEAN needs and support regional decarbonization efforts.
