JCOAL has compiled "Effective Countermeasures for Preventing Accidents at Biomass Power Generation Facilities". To enable wider utilization of these findings by relevant parties, we have now published a leaflet summarizing the key sections. This document comprehensively proposes preventative measures and recurrence prevention strategies that could be effective against the frequent fire and explosion accidents occurring in biomass power generation, covering fuel aspects, equipment aspects, and operational aspects. We trust it will serve as a useful reference for technical guidelines.
