1st Announcement：The 34th Clean Coal Day International Symposium (2025)" & "The Energy Security with Decarbonization Symposium 2025" will launch very soon.
We have been holding the "Clean Coal Day in Japan" International Symposium on annual September since former MITI established "Clean Coal Day (coal day) on September 4" for coal Public Acceptance (PA).
In 2025, we will hold the 34th "Clean Coal Day in Japan" International Symposium as follows at TORANOMON-HILLS MORI TOWER Tokyo + Online Zoom.

This year as well, we will actively utilize the Realtime voting system introduced last year during the Q&A sessions to enhance audience engagement and invigorate discussions. Additionally, we will reinstate bilateral meetings/one-on-one discussions that were conducted up to JFY2019 before the COVID-19 pandemic to provide opportunities for deeper dialogue between two parties.
Following the symposium, we have been posted JCOAL's Statement. We will create and publish an "e-book (tentative title)", highlighting not only the symposium content but also the carbon neutrality strategy/measurement by speakers and companies. (even if your company will not attend the symposium, this initiative welcome your joining.)
This will be widely distributed worldwide via symposium website, JCOAL website, and other platforms. (scheduled release/February 2026)
The symposium website will be opened on late July. You are available to check the details and register for it.
