ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) and JCOAL jointly made "Strategic Report on the ASEAN Readiness for CCT and CCU Technologies Towards Carbon Neutrality"

14 February 2024-ACE (ASEAN Centre for Energy) and JCOAL have been discussing to prepare a "Joint Strategic Report on ASEAN Readiness for CCT and CCU Technologies Towards Carbon Neutrality" as one of the major outcomes of the ongoing 4th MoU between the parties, following the previous publication of the "Joint Strategic Report on New Role of Coal Fired Power Plant in the Era of Energy Transition" in August 2021 and the policy brief on the ASEAN Readiness for CCT and CCU Technologies Towards Carbon Neutrality" in September 2022.

A webinar in March 2024 for outreach and dissemination is planned, for which further information will follow.

JCOAL is grateful to AFOC (ASEAN Forum on Coal) and AMS (ASEAN Member States) for the advice and cooperation forwarded during the course of working out the strategic report.
