JCOAL runs a website and issues journals to provide the latest information
on coal to specialists as well as the general public. To help spread the
achievements of different efforts to develop coal technologies, JCOAL
organizes Advanced Clean Coal Technology International Symposiums
which introduce coal information inside and outside Japan as well as the
trends of technical development of CCTs.
It also hosts clean coal seminars to provide the latest information about coal policies and technical trends.
To make the public more aware of the importance of coal as an energy
resource and the current state of coal technologies, JCOAL distributes
general coal brochures and holds coal seminars and Coal relation facility
tours for the general public for several days around September 5 (Clean Coal Day).
Thus, we are increasing people’s understanding of coal utilization and
its significance. |
