| Technologies to utilize coal ash have been actively
developed. In addition to usage for mixtures and admixtures of cement
and concrete, these technologies include a technique for transforming
coal ash into slurry and granular solid substances using additives
such as cement, blast furnace slag and coal to improve stability and
prevent the elution of trace chemical constituents. Research and development
on the utilization of coal ash through various processes including
steam curing and burning are also making progress. |
